Education has the power to change lives, foster innovation and transform our world for the better. As a 25-year educator, current Edina School Board chair, a long-time volunteer in our schools, and mother to three Edina Public School students, I have had a front-row seat to the impact that education and strong leadership in education have on students' lives and the health of a community.

During my time on the Board, the school district has successfully navigated issues that have shaped the trajectory of our district, such as post-COVID recovery, leading statewide literacy initiatives, and hiring a new superintendent. I’m proud of the role I’ve played as a leader in these decisions, and in the hundreds of others strategic choices made along the way as we live out our vision for each and every student to discover their possibilities and thrive.

I will continue to meet future challenges like navigating budget realities and successful referendum campaigns to thoughtfully preparing our classrooms for the opportunities and challenges of AI with the same steady, collaborative, strategic leadership.

My professional background and my personal experience within EPS are stabilizing assets that will help guide our schools. I’d be honored to earn your vote on November 3rd.

Where I Stand

Three Things I Bring to the Board

I love this community and our schools, and I bring that same commitment to every part of this role — here's what that looks like in practice:

Proven, Strategic Leadership

25 years as an educator, 5 years on the board and 14+ years of being active in the district — institutional knowledge that's a stabilizing, reliable asset .

Collaboration in Action

PTO president, Edina Education Fund co-chair and a listen-first approach to every board decision. I'm a strong believer in leveraging partnerships and relationships to make us better.

Students at the Center

Parent of three current EPS students and a lifelong learner. I work to continuously stay ahead of where education and leadership are headed so we can best serve each and every student.

I Hope to Earn Your Vote
